During my retirement from a 35 year business career, I decided it was time to bring my rhyming children’s stories to life. I had written the first several of these stories more than 20 years ago when my daughter Claire was in elementary school. I would write these stories while waiting for Claire to arrive on the bus from snowboarding in the Colorado Mountains

I have always enjoyed rhymes, whether in nursery rhymes, poetry, or songs. So the stories in the books of my Chuck Chuck Chicky and Chums Travel and Adventure Series are all rhyming. I have also written a number of adult poems and song lyrics throughout the years, some with vari-ous rhyming schemes and others in free verse. Travel, photography, art, and reading have been some of my other passions. Now that I have three grandchildren from my step-children Laura and Danny, I am hoping to open their eyes to these joys, and especially to the pleasure of words. Given my love of travel, photography and rhyming, who knows, there may be more travel adven-tures in my future that I will want to share.
